Basics

Your first graph

A walkthrough from running an audit to reading the result.

1. Run an audit

From the home page, enter a keyword — a topic you know well — and choose the market (location and language) you want to analyse. GraphRanks searches, scrapes the top results, and builds the graph. This takes a moment; a progress stepper shows each stage. Optionally add your own page as a comparison to see your gaps against those results.

2. Read the graph

When the run finishes you land on the graph view. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, and click a node to focus it and see the passages it was extracted from. Tightly connected concepts sit together as clusters — those are the sub-topics that define the subject.

3. Check the overview

The Overview tab is where the run lands. It opens with a verdict — one sentence summarising the opportunity — over four quadrant tiles that count your gaps:

  • Opportunities — connections nobody in the top 20 covers yet; the highest ceiling.
  • Catch-up — connections the ranking pages hold that your page doesn't; the safest wins.
  • Strengths and Covered — where you already match the field; nothing to do.

Tap a tile to jump into the Gaps tab pre-filtered to that quadrant.

4. Save, revisit, or share

Every run is saved to your Runs history automatically, so you can reopen it later. You can also make a run public to share a read-only link with anyone. From here, the how-to guides show how to put a graph to work for a specific goal.
